10 reasons you should drink wheatgrass juice

Many health mavens swear by wheatgrass as a super food. A few months ago, I searched for real scientific proof to see whether it works and although there is little study, wheatgrass itself has proven itself with many health benefits.
Wheatgrass has antibiotic properties and is packed with chlorophyll as it is a plant. Chlorophyll in wheatgrass is about 70%, and will bring toxins stored in the cells into the bloodstream so they can be washed out of your system. Chlorophyll will arrest the growth and proliferation of the unfriendly bacteria. It produce an unfavorable environment for bacterial growth.
Here are ten reasons why you should drink wheatgrass juice.
1. Wheat grass only contains around 10-15 calories per teaspoon. It has no fat or cholesterol.
2. Wheatgrass is a highly nutritious whole food containing trace elements of every vitamin, mineral and amino acid for human nutrition.
3. Drinking Wheatgrass juice is a great way for you to increase your intake of leafy green vegetables.
4. The chlorophyll in wheatgrass also helps to purify the liver.
5. Wheatgrass is useful in treating constipation and keeping the bowels open.
6. Wheatgrass helps in rebuilding the blood stream so it can handle toxins going out of the body.
7. Wheatgrass is high in oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll. The brain & all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly oxygenated environment.
8. Wheatgrass helps with skin problems such as eczema or psoriasis.
9. Wheatgrass is an energiser for body and mind.
10. Wheatgrass is great for constipation and keeping the bowels open.
The fact is: A lot of people use wheatgrass and have improved body results. Whether it’s proven or not, I believe that it can do no harm and I am yet to come across any fatalities from wheatgrass side effects. So for now, it’s a winner!
